Prof Rao completed his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and obtained his Master of Surgery in Orthopedics in 1992. After his training in medical college he worked in various hospitals and institutes in India. At present he is a visiting Professor at Lincoln University College. He has been invited to various forums to deliver lectures. He has publications in various National and International journals.
He was a former Chief Physiotherapist and Head of Clinicals for Documentation Based Care (dbc) Active Rehabilitation Network with 5 centres all over Malaysia including Sarawak. After obtaining his Diploma in Pharmacy, BPT, MPT (Cardio-Respiratory), PG Diploma in Critical Care Management, he joined as Assistant Professor of Physiotherapy and Senior consultant Physiotherapist in Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Paramedical Sciences (College of Physiotherapy) and AMS Physiotherapy Outpatient Centre, Chennai. He has also served as a Co-ordinator and Head of Physiotherapy Department in Lincoln University College. At present, he is working as a Senior Consultant Physiotherapist in GetWell Physiotherapy Centre.
Former President of Malaysia Homeopathy Medical Association 1993-1998, Fellow, Persatuan Perubatan Homeopathy Malaysia from 1997. Founder and Innovator with Vital Force Enterprise. Operating 3 homeopathic clinics at the moment Registered 3 products with the Ministry of Health. Currently holding about 30 product formulation.
