Professor and Head of the Commerce & Management Department of West Bengal State University Dr. Pranam Dhar is a Ph.D. holder in Commerce from the Department of Business Management, University of Calcutta. He also received D.Litt. (Honoris Causa) in Management from Commonwealth Vocational University in December 2017 at World Management Congress; Kolkata. Dr Dhar, completed his master degree in Commerce from the University of Calcutta with 1st Class and passed both NET and SLET in year 1997. He has also achieved a Diploma in Junior Book Keeping & Accountancy from the Board of Commercial Education, West Bengal. Dr. Dhar has more than 19 years of teaching experience in various universities and colleges. He is also the Chairman and convener of Post-Graduate Board in Commerce &Management and Under-Graduate Board in Commerce. Apart from his main thrust area i.e., finance, he takes a lot of interest in information technology. He has authored Twenty (20) books and also one hundred and twelve (112) research articles published in different regional, national & international journals. He has supervised 20 M.Phil Dissertations of different candidates under Calcutta University, West Bengal State University and many other universities. Although a person of versatility Dr Dhar’s area of specialization include Accounting and finance. He has even written for major research projects and journals of international stature. He has presented of about 295 papers up till now and has been awarded in both All-Indian and International Conferences. He is also the member of Editorial Board of International Journal. Dr. Pranam dhar has been bestowed with various awards from time to time. To name a few he has received Distinguished Teacher Award from International Multi-Disciplinary Research Foundation in January 2018, received IBRF Educational Excellence Award 2018 for excellence in the area of Banking and Finance at Christ University, Pune.

Dr. Sharmistha Banerjee is a Professor of Business Management at the University of Calcutta. She holds a Ph.D. degree in management. She completed her Masters and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Calcutta. Her areas of specialization include Management, HRM, OB and Entrepreneurship. Her research areas include Small Business Management, Microfinance and Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, OB, Public Policy. Besides Indian public and privately sponsored research, she has received several US fellowships and US India and UK India collaborative interdisciplinary research projects. She has been teaching in various universities round the globe beginning from Moreno Valley College, California, USA to BRACBusinessSchool, BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Banerjee is the Visiting Professor, Graduate School of East Asian Studies,Yamaguchi University, Japan. She is even involved in research projects related to Child’s right, education and violence against children and environmental Management. Prof. Banerjee holds many administrative roles such a she is the former Head of Department, University of Calcutta; Dy Director, Coordinator of various programmes, College Governing Body member. Born and brought up in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia S.Choudhury had his early education in Bahau and completed his MSc, Bsc (Pharmacology) and Master of Philosophy at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India in 1982. Started his career with a German multinational in the Medical field. After almost 19 years with this company in various Regional Senior positions, he decided to call it quits and established his own medical devices manufacturing company (2002), Vigilenz Medical Devices Sdn Bhd. Vigilenz achieved its ISO 13485:2003 and CE Mark Class ll medical devices in the year 2004. In the year 2006, the company accomplished the highest Class lll CE Mark for exports to the European Union and the first Malaysian company with a Class lll accreditation audited by TUV Germany. In 2006, he was the founder and Pro-term President of the Malaysian Medical Devices Association [MMDA] and he is also currently a member of the Association of Malaysian Medical Industries. S.Choudhury is also the recipient of two state awards, the PJK (2002) and the PKT (2006) by the most Honorable Governor of Penang. Appointed as the Advisory Panel of (Invest Penang), a state government investment arm by the Chief Minister of Penang and holds this position from year 2006 till present. He was featured in the September 2013 issue of the worldwide US publication Site Selection inviting investors into Malaysia as a possible manufacturing base. He was appointed by the Minister in the Prime Ministers Department, the Honorable Datuk Seri Idris Jala, as the Lab leader for the Medical Devices Lab under NKEA Healthcare (2011). He was subsequently endorsed by both Datuk Seri Idris Jala and the then Minister of Health as a sitting member of the national steering committee for NKEA Healthcare [medical devices] from year 2012 till present. Vigilenz had been announced as an Entry Point Project [EPP] company by the Honorable Prime Minister under the Economic Transformation Programme (2012). He was appointed by MIDA as a member of the Medical Devices Investment Advisory Panel (MDIAP) in line with the 11th Malaysia Plan (2016). He is the member of the Medical Technology Flagship Research Committee, under SIRIM Berhad. At its new facility in Penang Science Park, Vigilenz now ventures into orthopedics implants which will be coated with bacteriostatic material and launched globally as a first of its kind. The company currently has R & D projects in wound management & infection control products.

Naresh Kumar, PhD, is a Professor and Head of Research and Industry Linkages at Global Entrepreneurship Research and Innovation Centre, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Prior to joining UMK, he was the Head of Programme (MBA and MMIT) at the Graduate School of Management (AACSB Accredited), Universiti Putra Malaysia. He teaches strategic entrepreneurship, human resource management, organizational behavior, and research methods at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. His primary area of expertise is human resource development, and his research interest includes entrepreneurship, workplace learning, and organizational innovation and change. He has published over 100 journal articles, conference proceedings, and seminar papers on organizational and management-related studies. Dr. Elizabeth Furio Perez is an Academic Head with almost 30 years’ experience in the area of financial management, human resource management and entrepreneurship in the Philippines, Vietnam and UAE. She holds degrees in Doctor in Business Administration major in Management, Master in Business Administration major in Accounting and Management, and Bachelor in Banking and Finance in the Philippines. Likewise, she obtained a Post-graduate Diploma in International Financial management, and Post-graduate Certificate in Managing Performance through Organizational Culture in The Netherlands. She was also granted a sponsorship by the World Bank Institute in Paris, France to join the global training in Monetary Policy and International Trade.

She was actively involved in the curriculum design, instruction materials development, implementation and evaluation of business prospectus. She established linkages with various industrial partners for training placements in the Philippines, Vietnam and UAE. In addition, she spearheaded the development of Business Affairs Department in a state university in the Philippines that created several micro-enterprises as institutional income generation projects. She was involved in the policymaking and implementation of the microenterprises operations. Outside the academe services, Dr. Perez is actively involved in an NGO that provides educational support to the children of urban poor families in the Philippines. Dr. Perez was an active project initiator/ implementer for various community projects and social services in the Philippines, Vietnam, UAE and Denmark.

Prof. Mohd Ali, has completed his PhD. from University of London (1983), Master in Business Administration from University of Dertanian, Malaysia (UPM,1983). Diploma in Agriculture under College of Agriculture Malaya,1971) and Bachelor of Agriculture form University of Malaya,1976. Dr. Sekak taught efficiently different subjects at Bachelor level at Diploma level, and also at MBA level. He was appointed as Professor in UNISEL in January 2007. He was the Coordinator of Management subjects and Dean of FIM. He was a competent member of Management of Unisel. He also worked as Deputy Vice Chancellor of University Selangor (UNISEL), Malaysia.

From 2000 to 2001, besides lecturing, he was appointed to develop Institut Pembangunan Negeri (IKAPEN) for public relation exercise and enhancing the image of Unisel at early stage. Prof Ali was a founder member of Malaysia Biotechnology Working Group, Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2002, he was associated with the development of Professional Knowledge Based Parlimentarians at Commonwealth Parlimentarian Association. He was the advisory panel members in Malaysian History and Patriotism Research Institute, Malacca State Government and Text book Evaluation and Practices for Senior Staff, Ministry of Education, Indonesia in the year 2001.
